Join us for the Annual Christina Lake Homecoming Summerfest July 12th-14th, 2024!
The Homecoming Summerfest has become a tradition here in Christina Lake, a place where memories are shared, and new ones are made. It’s a time for all, past and present, near or far, to unify in our love for “The Lake”. It’s a time for our community, to come together to celebrate our regions talents, showcase our businesses and bring awareness to our community services and organizations.
This year’s Summerfest is kicking off with a FREE live outdoor concert located at the Christina Lake Welcome Centre, hosted by the Christina Lake Arts and Artisans Society, CLAAS. Doors open at 6pm, music to start at 7pm. CLAAS will be selling drinks and Pony Espresso will be open late for this event!
Saturday, July 13th , event will kick off at the Christina Lake Community Hall with a Pancake breakfast, opening ceremonies, a local vendors market, and KIDS ZONE! Events will move to the Christina Lake Provincial Park where Professional Sand Sculptor – Alex Avelino will be creating a sand masterpiece and will also be the judge for our own sandcastle building contest. There will also be free Fireboat and Dragon Boat rides, free kayak and paddleboard rentals, a BBQ, and the CLES PAC selling drinks and snacks. For Saturday evening, at the Christina Lake Community Hall there will be a chili dinner followed by a FREE live concert with Vancouver BC band, Whiskey Down. Tailout Brewing and Mountain Soul Winery will be operating the beer gardens.
On Sunday, July 14th, the Grand Forks Community Trails Society will be leading a guided hike on the Deer Point Trail.
