Snowshoes can be picked up and dropped off by users at the Visitor Centre kiosk at 1675 Hwy 3 Rental equipment may be transported to other locations within the region.
Christina Lake Snowmobile Society is a registered Society. It has a club of 25-30 members and was formed at Christina Lake in the late 1990s. The riding is mainly at the Walker creek area on the Paulsen summit, where they have a cabin that was built in 2007. The riding is mainly done over logging trails and cleared logging areas as the trails are not groomed.
They are a family oriented club and try to organize as many family oriented events as possible. There are two annual events that The Christina Lake Snowmobile Society host, The Poker Run in Jan/Feb and The Family Fun Day in March. Both these events are well attended and enjoyed by all! Christina Lake features over 215+ km of diverse trails ensuring an unforgettable experience for hikers, bikers, ATV enthusiasts, beginners and seasoned thrill seekers alike! The Trail Alliance works with all levels of government as well as dedicated volunteers to represent the needs and values of local trails so that all users have safe, accessible access while preserving the environment that makes our trails such a cherished asset.
The Christina Lake Trail Alliance (CLTA), established by the Christina Lake Tourism Society, is dedicated to stewarding the area’s trails to preserve their accessibility and beauty for all residents and visitors.
Maintained trails at the Paulson Summit offer a variety of snowmobiling options. There are deactivated logging roads that lead to wide open bowls and mountain tops. The Fife and Santa Rosa Road areas are easily accessible and suitable for everyone. During years when the lake freezes over, snowmobiling the length of the lake is an exciting experience.
There are also many smaller mountain lakes to sled to for a great day of ice fishing. It’s fun for everyone!
