Christina Lake Parks and Recreation Commission is a wonderful group of volunteers dedicated to providing recreation facilities and park ways with the stewardship of our lake and parks always forefront in the decision making process.

Christina Lake Parks and Recreation Commission arrange venue and instructors for yearly exercise programs, Christina Lake Triathlon, Children’s fitness programs. They maintain trails, parks grounds and sports areas. They have purchased and installed outside exercise equipment. They have formed several partnerships in the community including the partnership with Christina Lake Stewardship to fund the derelict dock removal as well as annual funding. Partnering also, with the Community Hall to fund exercise facilities and equipment as well as with the Christina Lake Chamber of Commerce and Fire Department to provide Childs playground at The Christina Living Arts Centre (Welcome Centre). CL REC Commission is also researching possibilities for a walking bridge over Christina Creek. They arrange for maintenance, marking, identification and publicizing area walking and bike trails.
