I purchased Woodnote Acres several years ago with the hope of making an affordable, peaceful sanctuary – a home away from home – for families, including my own, to stay in while they enjoy all that Christina Lake life 
has to offer.

There are 8.8 acres of land making this a very quiet, secluded spot, and a peaceful retreat after a long and busy day at the lake (1 mile to public beach), golf course (a few minutes drive), or exploring one of the many local hiking/biking trails. For the wildlife enthusiasts, white-tailed deer and wild turkeys are regulars to Woodnote Acres, among other winged and four legged friends.

Christina Lake Elementary School

Christina Lake Elementary School provides instruction to students from kindergarten to Grade 7. With its small class sizes and dedicated staff, CLES offers an excellent academic curriculum rounded out with art, drama and athletics programs. The school is part of School District 51, and as such has recently converted to a four day school week, in which the school week, with slightly extended hours, runs from Monday to Thursday, and weekends are from Friday to Sunday. The school has six classrooms, a gymnasium, library, computer centre, staff room, office and playground.

Christina Lake Homecoming & Summerfest

Join us for the Annual Christina Lake Homecoming Summerfest July 12th-14th, 2024!

The Homecoming Summerfest has become a tradition here in Christina Lake, a place where memories are shared, and new ones are made. It’s a time for all, past and present, near or far, to unify in our love for “The Lake”. It’s a time for our community, to come together to celebrate our regions talents, showcase our businesses and bring awareness to our community services and organizations.

This year’s Summerfest is kicking off with a FREE live outdoor concert located at the Christina Lake Welcome Centre, hosted by the Christina Lake Arts and Artisans Society, CLAAS. Doors open at 6pm, music to start at 7pm. CLAAS will be selling drinks and Pony Espresso will be open late for this event!

Saturday, July 13^th , event will kick off at the Christina Lake Community Hall with a Pancake breakfast, opening ceremonies, a local vendors market,  and KIDS ZONE! Events will move to the Christina Lake Provincial Park where Professional Sand Sculptor – Alex Avelino will be creating a sand masterpiece and will also be the judge for our own sandcastle building contest. There will also be free Fireboat and Dragon Boat rides, free kayak and paddleboard rentals, a BBQ, and the CLES PAC selling drinks and snacks. For Saturday evening, at the Christina Lake Community Hall there will be a chili dinner followed by a FREE live concert with Vancouver BC band, Whiskey Down. Tailout Brewing and Mountain Soul Winery will be operating the beer gardens.

On Sunday, July 14^th, the Grand Forks Community Trails Society will be leading a guided hike on the Deer Point Trail.

CHRISTINA LAKE WELCOME CENTRE

Located in the heart of Christina Lake in the community park, the Christina Lake Welcome Centre celebrated its official Grand Opening on August 6, 2010. The focus of ten years work to create a Welcome Centre for the region, it serves as an interpretive centre and as a tourist attraction that showcases the region’s vibrant arts and cultural life, as well as its commitment to environmental sustainability. A gallery displays arts and crafts created by artists and artisans from throughout the entire Boundary region. A retail shop, including on-line sales capability, offers locally produced items, as well as a variety of other tourist-related products for sale to visitors.

An Eco Machine treats all of the wastewater from the Centre. The Eco Machine will be an incredible teaching tool about our ecosystems, showing how nature works to break down waste through microbes, fish, snails and aquatic plants, and produces clean water without the use of chemicals or other compounds harmful to our environment.

GLADSTONE (TEXAS CREEK) PROVINCIAL PARK

Texas point; also known as Gladstone Provincial Park and Campground. They have a nice public access beach area right on the lake. The beaches are more secluded, almost like you claim your own portion of the beach for your time there. On the south side of the beach, there are dog-friendly spots, which is good for the dog lovers.
