Blue Mountain Lodge Christina Lake, is set on our 1.5 acre property with a variety of beautiful trees throughout. We offer you the best in comfortable accommodations, perfect for vacations or family/group gatherings. Choose from our fully renovated Lodge Suites, popular Cottage, cozy Rose Cabin, or full service RV sites. Our beautiful grounds provide lots of room to play or relax. The large open grassy area is ideal for lawn games, and we have a wide variety for you to choose from.
During the day, enjoy all that Christina Lake has to offer, our convenient location provides easy access for you to explore the Trans Canada and the Kettle Valleys incredible hiking/biking trails, play on the water, golf, fish, or just relax. Shops, restaurants, marina and other attractions are just minutes away. At night, settle in around the campfire while you roast your marshmallows under the stars…another wonderful day at the lake!

I purchased Woodnote Acres several years ago with the hope of making an affordable, peaceful sanctuary – a home away from home – for families, including my own, to stay in while they enjoy all that Christina Lake life
has to offer.
There are 8.8 acres of land making this a very quiet, secluded spot, and a peaceful retreat after a long and busy day at the lake (1 mile to public beach), golf course (a few minutes drive), or exploring one of the many local hiking/biking trails. For the wildlife enthusiasts, white-tailed deer and wild turkeys are regulars to Woodnote Acres, among other winged and four legged friends.

Ritchie beach is located at the end of Ritchie Road, coming off of Johnson Road, also off of Hwy #3. Ritchie Beach is a small, sandy, and secluded beach with deeper swimming water, and the perfect sunset scenery.
Kingsley beach is a historical area, at the end of Kingsley Road, just off of Hwy #3, once housing the original Christina Lake Motel and Restaurant and Dance Pavilion, a popular summer retreat spot in the 1900’s which brought in several visitors from all over the Boundary and the Kootenays for live music and dancing. Now a part of our rich history, bringing generations of families here to relive their summertime memories and create new ones.
Outdoor Dining – Open May 15- Sept 15
The Marina Bistro is a licensed waterfront patio with customizable sandwiches and specials, and a great way to finish off a day on the water – or in general!
Enjoy a meal or refreshment on the large patio overlooking the golf course. Open 11-7 early season and 8-8 after the May long weekend.
Christina Creek makes for a nice swim spot; meander along Christina Creek Trail, with shady areas, a great escape on those hot summer days with beautiful scenic views , immersed among the tall ponderosa pines and the mountains opening up to the valley a wonderful area to swim, float, kayak or canoe and connect with nature.
Christina Lake Elementary School provides instruction to students from kindergarten to Grade 7. With its small class sizes and dedicated staff, CLES offers an excellent academic curriculum rounded out with art, drama and athletics programs. The school is part of School District 51, and as such has recently converted to a four day school week, in which the school week, with slightly extended hours, runs from Monday to Thursday, and weekends are from Friday to Sunday. The school has six classrooms, a gymnasium, library, computer centre, staff room, office and playground.
The Kootenay Robusters is a non-profit organization for breast cancer survivors and associates to experience physical, emotional, spiritual and mental wellness at a level that they find comfortable and personally challenging. Through the paddling experience, it is their aim to raise awareness of breast cancer and the uplifting truth that there is life after breast cancer.
The Kootenay Robusters are in their 13th season of paddling in Christina Lake and always welcome new paddlers. Everyone on the team is a volunteer and each member contributes to the organization by serving on the various committees that are needed to make the team function. Money raised through sales of their annual calendar – a project which allows them to operate their paddling program while keeping costs low for any woman who wants to participate. As well as contributing to the yearly donation of $5000.00 to the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital – this time for a digital mammography machine.
The Kootenay Robusters also took part in Relays for Life in three communities and also had participants in the CIBC Run for the Cure. Throughout the year they attended events at local businesses such as Shoppers’ Look Good Feel Better , Mark’s Work Wearhouse Ladies’ Day, and Castlegar Rec’s Parade of Programs.
The team’s big adventure was attending the San Francisco Dragon Boat Festival, where they fulfilled their mission to raise breast cancer awareness by being the only breast cancer team participating – and attracted a lot of attention in their bright pink shirts and PFDs.
Anyone interested in joining the team regardless of fitness level, age or being personally affected by breast cancer, are welcome to join and bring awareness to this important cause. Please contact Kootenay Robusters to let them know you will be paddling and to find the location of the boat launch.
Weekly Practice: From May- Middle of September Practice 3 times/week active Tuesday, Thursday evenings 6pm-7:30pm and Saturday mornings from 9-11am. There is also a paddling machine in each community which can be used individually by The Robusters in the off season.

Annual Events: Annual Calendar Sales begin every September for sale at several local businesses in Christina Lake, Trail, Rossland , Castlegar and surrounding areas. Anyone wanting to submit a picture for next years Calendar 2015, please email to joycliff(@telus.net.)

The Parent Advisory Council (PAC), is an organization which works in partnership with Christina Lake Elementary School. CLES includes around 102 students and around 9 teachers and staff. This school is the foundation for our children of Christina Lake and one of the most unique schools around thanks to the teachers, parents and the community that make this school so wonderful.
Our Parent Advisory Committee meets once a month and are part of making wonderful things happen in our School. We coordinate fundraisers like selling Purdy’s Chocolates, Bottle Drives, special school lunch days, Christmas Raffle and bake sale all extra profits go back into the school to give back to our children for school trips and other school needs.
We organize fun events like family movie nights for all of the families to enjoy, volunteer our time in our annual special days like Winter Fun day and Sports Day events which have been a tradition of the CLES School for as many years as we can remember. It’s our committee and community that helps makes these events happen thanks to our organizing, our time and our commitment to our children and school.
We are a wonderful community with a wonderful school all living here for one reason and that’s to enjoy the uniqueness and beauty of the people we live amongst and help give our children the learning foundation to become successful adults one day as our generations move on and on.

Christina Lake Snowmobile Society is a registered Society. It has a club of 25-30 members and was formed at Christina Lake in the late 1990s. The riding is mainly at the Walker creek area on the Paulsen summit, where they have a cabin that was built in 2007. The riding is mainly done over logging trails and cleared logging areas as the trails are not groomed.
They are a family oriented club and try to organize as many family oriented events as possible. There are two annual events that The Christina Lake Snowmobile Society host, The Poker Run in Jan/Feb and The Family Fun Day in March. Both these events are well attended and enjoyed by all! If interested in becoming a member please contact The Christina Lake Snowmobile Society.
